PRP Under Eye Rejuvenation

PRP undereye rejuvenation is a natural approach to treating the delicate under eye skin, improving skin quality, brightening the skin and minimizing darkness. During this treatment our skilled Nurse injectors will draw a small tube of blood from a vein in ther arm, spin the blood in a centrifuge to separate the plasma and platelets (PRP) from the red blood cells.

They will then retrieve the PRP and inject the PRP into the under-eye area. Platelet Rich Plasma consists of two elements: plasma, or the liquid portion of blood and platelets, a type of blood cell that plays an important role in healing throughout the body.  By using your own platelets, it stimulates tissue regeneration, triggers cell growth and collagen production.

Treatment Information

Pre Treatment

  • Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to special events (ie. Weddings or vacations) as results may take up to 14 days to appear.  Also bruising and swelling may be apparent for up to 14days post injection.

  • Reschedule your appointment at least 24hours before hand if you have a rash, cold sore or blemish on the area being treated.

  • If you have a history of colds sores please let us know, as we may need to prescribe an antiviral prior to treatment.
